This year my health kept me from maintaining a garden, but I’ve found joy and comfort in the fresh offerings of local farm stands and farmers’ markets. Today my first elaborate soup of the season is simmering on the stove, warming my space. I’m reminded how generously the Land provides for all of us—and how sweet it is to share in that abundance before winter settles in. Happy Soup Season❤️
I’m trying to balance the desire to squeeze in a little more summer fun with the need to slow down as autumn approaches. My body is yearning for rest, and I’m learning to honor that without guilt. The first hints of color in the trees have me in awe, reminding me to pause and take it all in. Here’s to finding a little peace in the in-between.
I’m excited to be vending at Pickin’ in the Pines, a bluegrass festival in Baldwin, MI, this weekend! As the air turns crisp, I’m looking forward to cozy sweater weather, slowing down, and catching up on projects around the house. It feels like the perfect season to balance work, rest, and creativity.
We’re in that tender space where summer is slipping away and autumn is just beginning to whisper. I’m trying to slow down and soak in the last golden days while welcoming the first hints of change here in Northern Michigan. In the studio, I’m carrying that same rhythm—creating with intention, savoring each step.
I find myself barreling through summer and feeling the need to pause and regroup—time is flying! I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit and spending more time in the studio as I prepare for fall vending opportunities. In the meantime, I’ve added a few new items to the shop, with more on the way. Thanks for following along and supporting independent makers.
Good morning☀️ I’ve added a few new items to the shop, with more coming later this week! Local friends: I’ll be vending at the Mesick Farm & Artisan Market starting May 31, 10am–2pm. I’ll be out there with the other amazing local artists each Saturday through the Summer. I’m busy getting a few craft items ready and growing seedlings and plants for the season. It feels good to get my hands in the soil again. Looking forward to sharing what I’ve been working on—hope to see you there!

New Shop Soft Opening! I’m so excited to open my shop on Lyric and step into a community bursting with creativity, talent, and shared passion. In a world that often feels heavy, art has a way of lighting the way forward—it replenishes the spirit, sparks connection, and reminds us that beauty still exists, no matter what is going on around us. Art reminds us of what’s worth fighting for. As I get to know this platform and the incredible artists here, I look forward to expanding the variety of my offerings and sharing more of what brings me joy.
